Kathmandu – Two people died and eleven others sustained injuries in separate lightning incidents occurred in Dhading and Rukum Paschim districts on Wednesday. Forty-year-old Ram Singh Tamang died and two women were injured when lightning struck them at Gorgang of Khaniyabas rural municipality in Dhading district. Tamang was constructing a coop for the chickens in front of his house when he was hit by the thunderbolt. Two women were injured in the incident, police said. The lightning also damaged two houses at Thali of Khaniyabas.
