Kathmandu – Throat swab samples of 1,483 people quarantined in six districts in the Sudurpashim state have been collected and sent Kathmandu for coronavirus test. The test will be carried out at the Teku-based National Public Health Laboratory. The swab collections covered Doti, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, Baitadi and Achham districts.
According to Sudurpaschim regional health service directorate, Dipayal, swab collections in the remaining three districts—Bajhang, Darchula and Bajura will be carried out next. Similarly, the rapid diagnostic test of 213 people (191 male: 22 female) who were not included in the aforementioned swab collections showed negative.
