I bought a sarangi from my visit to Nepal but I can't seem to tune it. I bought it for roughly 5000 rupees and when I tried to play it, it wouldn't make any sound.
So I bought some rosin from Amazon to apply on the strings and it now makes sound, but I can't tune it properly. I've followed some tutorials online but that didn't help and the sound is really rough.
Are the strings and bow the problem? If yes, where can I find a good replacement? There aren't many resources for this instrument online so any suggestion/tips are appreciated.
