I have been watching this with a little interest of late but mostly overlooked it as many times more people die from regular flu than these viruses etc, however, with 5 cities now on lock down in China and reports coming out that it is FAR worse than the Chinese authorities are admitting and with vids like these shown in link (It's a Tabloid – sorry) about people laying collapsed or dead in the street i am starting to think this might be a significant outbreak!

The airports (bar a few) around the world are still allowing people through with no screening and just handing out leaflets about feeling ill etc and so it seems theirs a discrepancy between the West's and East's response to it which is what is confusing, i mean, why lock down entire cities in a country of 1.4 Billion people when only 500 or so are infected and 17 deaths etc??? Surely more have died from regular flu in that time??
I dunno – something does not add up imo, seems overkill for a virus that as they say has less impact than normal flu……. unless it is way worse than they are saying that is.
So if or when it comes to Kathmandu and numbers start to rise will Kathmandu get locked down? Maybe it is just media hype (Not for those affected) for clicks but i am starting to worry about this a little and even the Nepali gov't are prepping at Teku hospital etc.
What are your thoughts? Anyone else concerned?
